Preventing System Failures

Someone you know has had the furnace fail on a holiday or over the coldest night of the winter. Many of us also had the Air Conditioning system quit in the middle of July. These are not happy experiences! HVAC systems work the hardest when we depend upon them the most for our family's comfort. DeftTech Mechanical is available to help when these unpleasant events occur. Call us even on short notice! We will be there as quickly as we can! Call for Jay at (303) 809-3779

Of course the best way to keep the furnace from failing in December is to have a thorough check-up and evaluation in the autumn! For a modest fee, we will visit your home to evaluate your heating system before the cold weather sets in. Later in the spring, call us to close down the furnace and check out the air conditioner or evaporative cooling system to ensure they will work when you need them most.

Older model furnace and heating systems require regular maintenance. And unfortunately, old systems just wear out. Before investing in a completely new heating system, contact Jay for a recommendation.

Hot Water Heaters

No hot water in your home? Call us to get your hot water system operating again. We carefully examine:

  • thermal couplers
  • pilot functionality
  • common leaks
  • water storage tank for wear-out zones, and will
  • recommend replacement of hot water heater only when appropriate.

  • Swamp Coolers

Homes using evaporation cooling systems occasionally see problems with:

  • pump failures
  • belt problems
  • fan breakage
  • bearing failures

  • Call Jay for Swamp Cooler repair, system diagnosis and replacement recommendations. We will take a complete look at your cooling system.

    Home Air Conditioners

Starting up your air conditioning system next spring might be a lot easier with an inspection before winter! Call Jay today to examine your air conditioner and prepare it for next summer. Our checklist includes looking at:
